Yes. It’s the MDHHS Home Help Program, a Michigan Medicaid benefit that’s been active for decades. About 61,000 Michigan families are currently enrolled.
Who qualifies as a caregiver?
A family member (not a spouse) who provides daily care. You must be 18 or older, pass a background check, and be enrolled in Michigan’s CHAMPS provider system. HHN handles the enrollment process.
How long does enrollment take?
